Spotlight on projects from the 2022 Top 50 Electrical Contractors


Despite the challenges of rising inflation, supply chain delays and persistent labor shortages, EC&MThe 50 Best Electrical Contractors of 2022 managed to increase revenue as a collective group this year to over $40 billion, an unprecedented gain of 20% from the $34.1 billion raised last year. This is the biggest year-over-year jump in at least 15 years of this annual survey.

In addition to the annual survey results, presented in tables and graphs, here is a sampling of some of the notable power projects the top 50 companies worked on in 2021.

For the sixth consecutive year, data center/mission critical construction and healthcare maintained their place as the top two markets bringing in the largest dollar project volume in 2021, followed again this year by manufacturing at third place.
